Did you know? The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has published a series of guides, called Advanced Energy Design Guides (AEDG's), with an energy savings target of 30% over ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-1999. These guides provide energy saving goals and strategies, prescriptive tables, and tips and approaches on implementation. All of the recommendations for each climate zone, including Climate Zone 2, which includes Southeast and South-central Texas, are provided in very user-friendly single-page tables.
